Prerequisites

Java 21 installed and configured in your shell environment.
Access to internet for Gradle dependencies download.

Run Tests

Execute the JUnit test suite (unit and WebMvc controller integration tests):

./gradlew test

Run Mutation Coverage (PITest)

Verify the domain logic mutation kill rate using PITest:

./gradlew pitest

After completion, open the generated HTML report to check coverage:

open build/reports/pitest/index.html

Note: The project enforces a strict 100% mutation kill rate on target domain logic classes.

Running the Application

Launch the Spring Boot server locally (binds to http://localhost:8080):

./gradlew bootRun
