Saved setup from 5 h ago
The maintainers included install.sh. Run it from the cloned folder after reading it.
bash install.sh
Will it work on my device?
nvm will encounter some issues if you have some non-default settings set. (see #606)
The following are known to cause issues:
Inside ~/.npmrc:
prefix='some/path'
Environment Variables:
$NPM_CONFIG_PREFIX
$PREFIX
Shell settings:
set -e
curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.41.0/install.sh | bash
wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.41.0/install.sh | bash
From the README, exactly as the maintainers wrote it.
On Linux: 0 got it running, 1 got stuck.
